Overview
Responsibilities
- Diagnose equipment to determine the cause of terminal, circuit board, and component failures.
- Repair terminal boards and subassemblies using schematics, technical manuals, and established procedures.
- Troubleshoot printed circuit boards at the component level using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Inspect terminals, circuits, and related equipment for damage, wear, or operational issues.
- Maintain accurate electronic records of incoming equipment, outgoing terminals, and completed repairs.
- Clean the interior and exterior of terminals, boards, and associated components.
- Assist field service technicians with terminal-related issues and requests for replacement parts or supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

One or more years of related electronics repair, equipment maintenance, or technical troubleshooting experience.

Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, printed circuit boards, and electronic testing procedures.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment, including oscilloscopes and multimeters.

Capability to operate computers, data-entry workstations, forklifts, and other equipment required for repair operations.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required

Associate degree in Electronics or a related technical field.

Component-level experience repairing printed circuit boards and electronic subassemblies.

Background supporting field service teams or maintaining equipment used for technical training.

Lift equipment and materials weighing up to 40 pounds frequently.

Load and unload trucks as required to support repair and inventory operations.

Demonstrate the manual dexterity needed to handle tools, circuit boards, terminals, and small electronic components.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $31,096 - $67,496. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
