Overview

The Sr Manager Project Mgmt provides strategic leadership and vision for product and process design initiatives within the Retail Lottery Tools & Process organization. This role ensures that all design efforts align with organizational goals, operational requirements, and evolving market trends. The role oversees the full lifecycle of design and system-enhancement projects — from concept through launch and operationalization — while managing budgets, timelines, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration.

 

This leader establishes design standards, drives continuous innovation, and provides strategic direction to senior team members to deliver high-impact, customer-focused solutions. The position is accountable for resource planning, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring that design outcomes support key business objectives, operational efficiency, and competitive positioning.

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of product, process, and system enhancements aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Set design standards, methodologies, and expectations for high-quality, user-centered outputs.
  • Provide direction to senior design, process, and support teams to ensure cohesive, scalable, and innovative solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define project scope, success criteria, and alignment to business objectives.
  • Own the configuration, administration, and optimization of Clarity PPM modules (Projects, Resources, Portlets).
  • Provide day-to-day operational oversight and user support, including on-call coverage as needed.
  • Lead and manage the Clarity support team by assigning work, managing backlog, establishing priorities, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with tool owners and technical partners to support and maintain integrations with Clarity (including SAP and other operational systems).
  • Ensure system usage aligns with Brightstar policies, governance requirements, and process standards.
  • Gather, document, and manage business requirements for enhancements, fixes, and configuration updates.
  • Translate business needs into actionable priorities that balance operational urgency with strategic value.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance routines and ensure system/runbook documentation is kept current, including disaster recovery plans.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the Clarity platform and support model using industry best practices, methods, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide coaching, training, and guidance to ensure effective and consistent use of Clarity across the organization.
  • Monitor team expenditures and provide budgetary inputs (without formal signing authority).

Qualifications

  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
  • Clarity PPM (Cloud and On-Prem)
  • SAP integrations
  • Windows-based systems and infrastructure
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, large stakeholder groups, and complex technical requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical and design solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Computing, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of project management, design leadership, or relevant technology management experience.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $90,746 - $200,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
