Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test documentation, perform system testing, and manage test environments.
- Participate in customer meetings to gather requirements and provide input on project timelines.
- Analyze business requirements to identify testing needs and ensure stakeholder expectations are met.
- Own Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) systems: schedule, plan, configure, document, and implement changes.
- Apply testing principles to evaluate systems during development and validate new features before launch.
- Record, report, and track software defects; maintain accurate testing documentation.
- Assist with software installations in production environments and create scenarios to replicate issues.
- Provide on-call support for system incidents and day-to-day issue resolution.
- Deliver metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of testing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of related experience; prior operations or project management experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux (Red Hat), Putty, WinSCP, Jira, and Windows (certifications not required).
- Knowledge of SEI/CMM/ITIL frameworks preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude with troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency; able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $44,500 - $103,002. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
