Responsibilities
Engineering Support
- Serve as the primary quality resource for Engineering during design and development activities.
- Ensure all designed and delivered products comply with engineering and quality standards.
Product Development & Lifecycle
- Support new design projects and existing fielded products.
- Participate in design reviews, providing quality input during concept and development phases.
Risk Management
- Ensure completion and documentation of risk management activities such as FMEA.
Quality Planning
- Develop and maintain Quality Control Plans aligned with product requirements.
Supplier Collaboration
- Work with suppliers to implement inspection and verification points during production processes.
- Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities for contract-manufactured parts and supplier issues.
- Manage disposition of supplier nonconforming material through the deviation request (DR) process.
New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Drive quality activities for NPI projects, including qualification and validation of new designs.
Performance Analysis
- Collect and analyze supplier performance using key metrics.
Second Source Evaluation
- Support second source requests by evaluating first article results, manufacturing capabilities, and business impacts.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field
Minimum Experience:
2 years
Preferred Experience:
5+ years
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Experience with ISO 9001, SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
- Certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) are a plus

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $59,795 - $122,400. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
