Overview
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the next generation of our Global Data & Insights platform. This role is central to a multi-year transformation that will redefine how data is collected, unified, analyzed, and experienced across our technology ecosystem.
This Product Manager will shape a future ready data platform that enables customers to:
React to their data in real time
Access trusted, unified insights across systems and regions
Use AI powered experiences to generate reports and ask questions of their data
Continue to meet operational, regulatory, and legacy reporting needs during platform modernization
We are looking for a visionary yet pragmatic product leader someone who understands modern data systems deeply, can partner credibly with senior technologists, and can translate complex platforms into clear customer value and measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the long-term vision and roadmap for the next generation, global Data & Insights platform.
- Balance innovation (real-time data, AI-driven insights) with continuity (legacy reporting and standardized outputs).
- Articulate product strategy clearly to executives, customers, and delivery teams.
- Own platform capabilities spanning data ingestion, transformation (ELT), storage, modeling, governance, and access.
- Drive alignment on modern data architectures, including cloud native data warehouses, data storage patterns, and open table formats.
- Partner with architecture and engineering teams to guide platform decisions and tradeoffs.
- Champion real time and near real-time data use cases such as alerts, operational monitoring, and live dashboards.
- Define product requirements for streaming pipelines and low latency analytics while maintaining reliability and accuracy.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into the Data & Insights experience, including natural language querying, automated insights, and intelligent reporting.
- Ensure AI features are delivered with appropriate governance, explainability, and trust.
- Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, customer ready features.
- Define product requirements for data governance, privacy, security, and regional compliance.
- Ensure consistent definitions, metrics, and data quality across business units and geographies.
- Support multi-tenant and regional deployment models.
- Deeply understand customer workflows and translate them into platform capabilities and success metrics.
- Partner with UX, engineering, data engineering, and commercial teams to deliver outcomes, not just features.
- Lead phased transitions from legacy systems to modern capabilities with minimal customer disruption.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Product Management experience, with significant ownership of data platforms, analytics products, or data infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including cloud data warehouses, data lakehouse patterns, ELT/ETL pipelines, and orchestration.
- Experience delivering products that use real-time data.
- Proven ability to work effectively with senior engineers, architects, and data scientists.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud data ecosystems.
- Familiarity with open table formats (e.g., Iceberg, Delta) and interoperability strategies.
- Experience integrating AI/ML or LLM based features into analytics or reporting products.
- Background in regulated or high trust environments where operational accuracy and compliance are critical.
- Experience managing modernization programs that coexist with legacy systems.
- Clear platform vision, architectural principles, and prioritized roadmap.
- Defined MVP for unified insights and real time capabilities.
- Measurable improvements in time to insight, data trust, and customer adoption.
- Initial AI assisted reporting or data interaction capabilities in production.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $74,961 - $164,800. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
