Overview

As a Logistics Analyst, you will support Brightstar Lottery's domestic and international transportation operations by coordinating cost-effective, on-time shipments and delivering proactive logistics support to internal teams and external partners. You will analyze transportation data, monitor service performance, and identify opportunities to improve cost, quality, and operational execution. This role will be located onsite in West Greenwich, Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

Coordinate domestic and international shipments across air, ocean, full truckload, and less-than-truckload transportation modes.
Evaluate freight quotes, select carriers, and make routing decisions based on service, cost, and operational requirements.
Prepare and validate bills of lading, air waybills, invoices, shipper's letters of instruction, commercial invoices, and other shipping documentation.
Ensure shipments comply with applicable regulations, Incoterms, customs requirements, and internal procedures.
Monitor shipments from origin through delivery, communicate status updates, and resolve delays, damages, shortages, and customs holds.
Analyze transportation data, maintain KPI dashboards, ensure reporting accuracy, and recommend actionable performance improvements.
Collaborate with internal departments, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, third-party logistics providers, and managed freight partners.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Four or more years of professional experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of global shipping processes, transportation modes, Incoterms, and customs requirements.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and transportation data analysis.
Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required

Familiarity with SAP or another enterprise resource planning system.
Background supporting freight provider performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Expertise coordinating shipments across multiple international transportation modes.
Exposure to trade compliance, freight billing, or managed transportation programs.

Physical Requirements

Maintain regular onsite attendance five days per week.
Travel occasionally, up to approximately 10%.
Participate in occasional meetings outside normal business hours.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,631 - $98,467. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
