Join the WINNING TEAM at BRIGHTSTAR! Brightstar is seeking a Data Operations Analyst II in our Rhode Island offices.
Your role matters—and so does your impact. As a Data Center Operations Analyst at Brightstar Lottery, you’ll be the guardian of our critical systems, ensuring stability, reliability, and continuity across domestic and international operations. From managing complex system releases to training operators and driving process improvements, you’ll play a key role in keeping our technology—and our business—running at its best.
Responsibilities
- System & Release Management
- Oversee critical systems and ensure smooth integration with Production environments.
- Create and execute install plans, coordinating with install teams during night releases.
- Track software changes and approvals across QA, CAT, and Production environments.
- Operational Support & Continuity
- Provide 24/7 support for CAT and Production environments, including off-hours and high-impact release windows.
- Respond quickly to system emergencies to minimize downtime and financial risk.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for Operational and Change Management.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Train Operators on CAT system processing, release procedures, and ad hoc customer requests.
- Document operational procedures, checklists, and best practices.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure continuity and reduce operational risk.
- Project & Process Improvement
- Collaborate with project managers, site leadership, and corporate teams to meet operational goals.
- Recommend improvements to systems, tools, and procedures.
- Conduct operational reviews and contribute to training needs analysis.
Qualifications
- Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in operations, systems support, or technical environments.
- Proficiency in Unix, Linux, JBOSS, DB2, Telnet, Remote Desktop, and basic scripting.
- Familiarity with Aurora, ES Suite, and ProSys.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,631 - $98,467. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
