Responsibilities

Generates test documentation and executes tests to verify that the system performs as required. Works independently, and is the primary contact with development services. Organizes, designs plans, directs, and assists in all the activities required for the test effort.

  • Develops test documentation and performs tests
  • Participates in projecting meetings and meetings with the client
  • Applies principles and techniques to evaluate systems during development
  • Recording, reporting, and tracking defects to accurately depict the status of the system
  • Recommends continuous improvements within the Central Control System.
  • Ensures data integrity by evaluating and recommending appropriate software and hardware solutions
  • Consults with management and staff regarding development, testing and installation problems or malfunctions and recommends solutions

Qualifications

  • A college degree in a technical field, preferably computer science.
  • 4 -7 years' experience in testing environment
  • Strong understanding of the development cycle
