Responsibilities

This position is for a Software Engineer specializing in C/SQL who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of an online transaction processing system for a scratchcard lottery. The role involves working on high‑availability production systems, participating in international system deployments, and providing hotline support for live environments

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to work independently or within a team
Proficiency in software development lifecycle
Development and maintenance of on-line transaction processing system for scratchcard lottery
Participation in future system deployments for world-wide customers
Hotline support for production systems

Qualifications

University Degree in Computer Science or a related fields
Strong C/C++ programming skills
Good understanding relational database algebra
Strong SQL skills at any common RDBMS, preferably DB2 or Postgres
Knowledge of C application programming under RedHat Linux
One year or more of software working experience in professional software development
UNIX shell scripting
Good command in English language –written and spoken
Availability for international travel (less then 10% per a year)
Based in Poland (option for remote work)

Nice to have

Java programming skills, Spring and Angular frameworks
Stored procedures programming experience with SQL database
Working experience in International projects in larger software teams
Programming large scale, multiuser, distributed systems
Job related certificates/diplomas
