Responsibilities

The Business System Analyst I, works under supervision to identify and validate business needs in order to create well-defined requirements associated with IGT product and service offerings. This position applies a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the development, operation, and maintenance of software through requirements management. Participates in synthesizing IGT, customer, and market requirements to support the evolution of IGT products and services.

  • Work under supervision with business and technology team members to ensure seamless integration of business functionality and requirements throughout product releases or project deliveries.
  • Document, analyze and interpret complex business policies and processes
  • Manage issues and risks related to requirements
  • Performs cost and benefit analysis (ROI)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree with additional Education/Training in a Business Functional Area or equivalent.
  • One or more years industry experience in a related field
  • Must be familiar with packaged application software and MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, Exposure/experience with SAP a plus
  • General understanding of Software Requirements and Methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of Software Design, Software Configuration Management, Software Engineering Process and Software Engineering Management and Software Engineering Quality
