Responsibilities

The Business System Analyst I, works under supervision to identify and validate business needs in order to create well-defined requirements associated with IGT product and service offerings. This position applies a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the development, operation, and maintenance of software through requirements management. Participates in synthesizing IGT, customer, and market requirements to support the evolution of IGT products and services.

Work under supervision with business and technology team members to ensure seamless integration of business functionality and requirements throughout product releases or project deliveries.
Document, analyze and interpret complex business policies and processes
Manage issues and risks related to requirements
Performs cost and benefit analysis (ROI)

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree with additional Education/Training in a Business Functional Area or equivalent.
One or more years industry experience in a related field
Must be familiar with packaged application software and MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, Exposure/experience with SAP a plus
General understanding of Software Requirements and Methodologies.
Basic understanding of Software Design, Software Configuration Management, Software Engineering Process and Software Engineering Management and Software Engineering Quality
