Responsibilities

Build and manage automation pipelines (build, test, deploy)
Improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes
Work with developers to optimize build and release processes
Contribute to security hardening and secrets management
Mentor DevOps I engineers

Qualifications

Required Skills

Proficiency in system administration and scripting (Bash, Python)
Strong skills in CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance
Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)
Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.)
Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK)
Working knowledge of networking (DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls)
Can independently manage small-to-medium scale deployments
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Soft Skills

Clear, concise communication in English within distributed teams (B2/C1 level)
Growth mindset with a bias for automation, measurement, and continuous improvement
Pragmatic problem-solving and customer-centric thinking
Experience collaborating in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban)

Value-Add / Nice-to-Have Skills

GitOps (Argo CD or Flux)
Event streaming (Kafka)
Secrets management (Vault, AWS KMS/Azure Key Vault)
Security best practices (OWASP Top 10, SLSA, SBOM/SCAs)
