Overview
The Delivery Business Analyst II supports system delivery initiatives by translating business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements for assigned project areas.
This role partners with customers, Product Owners, Engineering, QA, Project Management, and Service teams to support requirement reviews, documentation updates, testing alignment, and implementation readiness. The Delivery BA II works independently on moderate-complexity assignments and escalates ambiguity, scope concerns, or cross-functional impacts as needed.
Primary Focus
- Requirements execution for assigned project areas or workstreams.
- Development and maintenance of Functional Requirements Documents and related delivery artifacts.
- Support for requirement reviews, change control, testing alignment, and implementation readiness.
Responsibilities
Requirements Elicitation and Analysis:
- Facilitate standard requirements discovery sessions with customer and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze business workflows, user needs, business rules, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints for assigned scope areas.
- Confirm requirements are specific, testable, and aligned with project objectives before review or approval.
Requirements Documentation:
- Develop and maintain Functional Requirements Documents and supplemental requirement artifacts.
- Document configuration decisions, process flows, use cases, field definitions, reports, interface needs, and business rules as applicable.
- Apply standard templates, version control, approval tracking consistently across delivery artifacts.
Gap Analysis and Impact Assessment:
- Support gap analysis between customer needs, baseline capabilities, and project-specific delivery needs.
- Identify impacts to assigned workflows, reports, interfaces, configurations, and dependent processes.
- Escalate complex impacts, unclear scope decisions or unresolved requirement gaps to the appropriate owner.
Change Control and Traceability:
- Capture requirement updates, rationale, impacts, and approval status for change requests.
- Maintain traceability from approved requirements through design, development, testing, and customer validation.
- Ensure requirement changes are reflected in controlled, auditable delivery artifacts.
Testing and Validation Support:
- Partner with QA to confirm test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria align with approved requirements.
- Participate in requirement validation, defect triage, customer reviews, and UAT support activities.
- Clarify requirement intent during development and testing to reduce ambiguity and rework.
Delivery and Handoff Support:
- Participate in requirements reviews, solution walkthroughs, demos, and readiness discussions.
- Support transition of requirement knowledge to Service or post-go-live support teams.
- Contribute to reusable templates, examples, and documentation improvements.
Qualifications
- Typically 3 to 5 years of business analysis, requirements management, systems delivery, or software implementation experience.
- Experience developing functional requirements, process documentation, use cases, user stories, or similar delivery artifacts.
- Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods.
- Strong written communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into system requirements.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, QA, PMO, and customer stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with requirements management and delivery tools such as Polarion, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting large-scale system implementation or regulated technology delivery projects.
- Exposure to business process modeling, traceability practices, and formal change control.
- Familiarity with lottery, gaming, enterprise systems, or complex transaction-based platforms.

This information reflects Brightstar Lottery’s good-faith estimate of compensation for this position at the time of publication. Actual compensation will be determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and internal compensation policies. Factors that we consider include, but are not limited to, role, career level, performance, skills, level of expertise, experience, location, market competitiveness, and internal equity. The estimated starting compensation range is 115.088,00 zł – 177.059,00 zł. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

This position is governed by collective bargaining agreement, which regulates the main terms and conditions of employment, including minimum salary levels, classification, working hours, leave, and other employment rights.
