Overview
Responsibilities
- Execute daily route coverage and maintain assigned schedules throughout the territory.
- Optimize product inventory, displays, and in-store presentation based on retailer needs and sales performance.
- Expand market presence by recruiting new retailers and identifying opportunities for district-level growth.
- Review sales results and key performance metrics with retailers while recommending actionable improvements.
- Implement sales initiatives, organizational strategies, and retail best practices at each point of distribution.
- Process instant ticket pickups, transfers, returns, and warehouse transactions in accordance with approved lottery procedures.
- Resolve retailer questions and concerns in partnership with lottery personnel and internal teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Valid driver's license and eligibility to operate a company-provided vehicle.

Residence within the region supported by the assigned office.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the capacity to adapt messaging for different audiences.

Demonstrated planning, organization, and time-management skills.

Independence in managing territory responsibilities and completing required documentation accurately and on time.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Previous retail or wholesale sales experience, including at least one year in a customer-facing environment.

Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint.

Success building productive relationships with retailers, customers, and cross-functional partners.

Exposure to sales reporting, performance metrics, or data analysis.

Travel extensively during daytime hours using a company-provided vehicle.

Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $40,887 - $115,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
