Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, service, remove, and repair Brightstar lottery equipment at retailer locations and approved repair facilities.
- Respond promptly to service dispatches, diagnose issues, and restore equipment functionality in line with service level and quality standards.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance to support optimal system performance and reliability.
- Safely transport, handle, and manage tools, equipment, spare parts, and consumables in compliance with safety and vehicle‑use policies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving, shipping, tracking, and reporting of equipment, parts, and materials.
- Support warehouse operations by helping maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment and ensuring materials are stored correctly and securely.
- Deliver equipment, consumables, and marketing materials to retailers and internal teams, completing required documentation accurately.
- Assist with the installation and removal of signage and promotional materials at retailer points of sale.
- Ensure retailer service requests are routed through approved systems and escalated appropriately when issues fall outside standard procedures.
- Provide basic operational training to new retailers or employees as needed to support effective use of equipment.
- Coordinate the disposal of faulty, damaged, or obsolete materials in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support local disaster recovery or emergency response activities when required, contributing to business continuity.
- Act as a positive ambassador for Brightstar by delivering professional service, building strong relationships, and modeling ethical standards and company values.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certificate or vocational training in electrical technology, electronics, or technical services preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in electronic repair and at least one year of experience in a related technical or field‑based role.
- Experience with field service, customer site support, preventive maintenance, or inventory and warehouse operations preferred.
- Exposure to lottery, gaming, telecommunications, or similar service‑driven environments is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Ability to troubleshoot routine to moderately complex technical issues using established procedures and sound judgment.
- Strong customer service mindset with clear, respectful communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Comfort working independently in the field while collaborating effectively with supervisors and cross‑functional teams.
