Role Overview:
The iGaming Commercial Management and Development Director is responsible for defining and executing the commercial and product strategy of the company’s online gaming platform, including casino, slots, and sportsbook offerings.
The role has full ownership of the development, performance, and evolution of the online gaming product portfolio, ensuring sustainable growth, competitive differentiation, and long-term value creation, working cross-functionally with product, technology, marketing, data, compliance, and external partners.
Is responsible for the strategic development, commercialization, and performance optimization of the company’s online gaming portfolio, including casino, slots, and sportsbook products.
The role combines commercial leadership, product development, and cross-functional coordination to drive revenue growth, player engagement, and long-term value across all digital gaming platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Development
- Define and own the long-term strategy for the online gaming product portfolio, ensuring a balanced mix of casino, slots, sportsbook, and emerging gaming products.
- Design and manage a comprehensive product portfolio roadmap, aligning innovation, scalability, regulatory requirements, and commercial objectives.
- Evaluate portfolio performance across key dimensions such as revenue contribution, player engagement, profitability, and product lifecycle stage.Identify new product opportunities, features, and game categories based on market trends, player behavior, and competitive analysis.
- Ensure portfolio differentiation versus competitors through exclusive content, proprietary features, and customized player experiences.
- Coordinate portfolio evolution across different markets, adapting product mix and positioning according to local regulations, player behavior, and competitive dynamics.
- Embed responsible gaming principles into portfolio design and development to support sustainable and compliant growth.
- Work closely with product, tech, UX/UI, and content teams to ensure high-quality, user-centric gaming experiences.
Commercial Performance & Growth
- Own P&L performance of online gaming products, with accountability for revenue, margins, and commercial KPIs.
- Define monetization models, pricing strategies, promotions, and bonus mechanics to maximize player acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
- Leverage data analytics and player insights to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including testing and experimentation.
Partnerships & Suppliers
- Manage and develop strategic relationships with game providers, platform suppliers, and external partners.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, revenue shares, and content deals to ensure competitive offerings and strong profitability.
- Evaluate and onboard new technology and content partners to expand and differentiate the gaming portfolio.
Regulatory & Compliance Collaboration
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure that products and commercial initiatives comply with local and international gaming regulations.
- Ensure responsible gaming principles are embedded into product design and commercial strategies.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor the commercial and product teams, fostering a performance-driven and collaborative culture.
- Act as a key internal stakeholder, aligning marketing, CRM, data, technology, and operations around shared commercial goals.
- Present product strategies, results, and growth plans to senior management and executive leadership.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of revenue models, player economics, and digital KPIs.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to guide product and commercial decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and partnership management skills.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability in fast-paced, competitive environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
Professional Experience/Seniority:
- 10+ years of experience in online gaming, iGaming, digital entertainment, or related digital industries.
- Proven track record in commercial leadership roles with strong exposure to online product development and management.
- Solid experience with casino games, slots, and casino live products is mandatory.
