About the Role

 

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior HRIS Professional to lead advanced configuration, global implementations, and continuous improvement of SAP SuccessFactors across multiple modules. In this senior role, you will partner with international and cross‑functional teams to design scalable HR technology solutions, ensure system excellence, and guide our broader strategy for AI‑enabled HR process automation and digital transformation.

  • Hybrid/Flex work model
  • Primary location: Rome, Italy
    (Regular onsite presence at the Rome office is required.)

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and oversee full lifecycle implementations of multiple SuccessFactors modules, from requirements gathering to design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Drive complex configuration and maintenance activities, ensuring best‑practice system design, data integrity, global process alignment, and robust Role‑Based Permissions (RBP).
  • Translate sophisticated business requirements into technical architectures: create high‑quality functional specifications, partner with integration teams, and support data model and reporting governance.
  • Take a key role in HR Automation and AI initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline and scale global HR processes through intelligent automation and advanced digital solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with global HR, IT, and business stakeholders across time zones: lead workshops, prepare detailed documentation, and coordinate UAT cycles with senior leaders.
  • Monitor and assess SAP quarterly releases, evaluate system impacts, and propose enhancements aligned to the HR technology roadmap and enterprise architecture.
  • Mentor junior HRIS team members and contribute to developing global HRIS standards, methodologies, and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • 8+ years of experience in HRIS roles with deep, hands‑on expertise across multiple SAP SuccessFactors modules.
  • Documented end‑to‑end implementation leadership, supported by relevant certifications and complex project portfolios.
  • Strong communication skills in English; ability to operate effectively in international, distributed teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of configuration, RBP management, data governance, testing methodologies, and reporting tools (Stories, Canvas, Ad Hoc).
  • Strategic thinking, strong analytical abilities, and a passion for emerging technologies—particularly AI and automation within HR.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • SAP SuccessFactors Associate or Professional certifications across multiple modules.
  • Experience with Job Architecture, Skills Frameworks, or Job Profile Builder.
  • Knowledge of integration platforms such as Integration Center, SAP Integration Suite/CPI, or Boomi.
  • Strong background working in complex, multinational organizations; additional languages (especially Italian) are a plus.
