Overview
Brightstar is seeking a highly organized and analytical Business Analyst to join our iLottery BA team. This position plays a key role in architecting the modern player journey, bridging the gap between our web/mobile platforms and our physical retail network. You will lead the digital transformation of lottery games, ensuring that a player’s experience is seamless whether they are scanning a physical ticket on their phone or using a digital wallet at a retail terminal.

Responsibilities
- Digital Product Definition: Lead the elicitation and documentation of requirements for iLottery features, including mobile app enhancements, instant-win games, and web-based draw results;
- Omnichannel Strategy: Map complex end-to-end player journeys that connect digital and physical touchpoints, such as "Click & Collect" prize claims or retail-to-web cross-promotions;
- Technical Bridging: Translate high-level business goals into detailed User Stories and Acceptance Criteria for Agile squads, ensuring technical teams understand the "why" behind every feature;
- Integration Management: Define requirements for third-party integrations, including secure payment gateways, age verification services, and brightstar’s Retail-centric Systems;
- Player-Centric Analysis: Use data from digital channels and retail sales reports to identify friction points in the player journey and recommend UX or process improvements;
- Compliance & Integrity: Ensure all digital products adhere to strict gaming regulations, including Responsible Gaming (RG) controls and data privacy standards (such as GDPR).
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years as a Business Analyst in a digital-first environment (eCommerce, Fintech, or iGaming), with a solid understanding of how physical retail environments function;
- Omnichannel Expertise: Practical experience in projects that involve the convergence of digital platforms and physical hardware (e.g., EPOS, mobile scanning, or loyalty programs);
- Agile Proficiency: Expert at navigating the SDLC within Scrum or Kanban frameworks, using tools like Jira and Confluence to manage backlogs;
- Analytical Toolkit: Proficiency in MS Office, Visio and wireframing tools (e.g., Figma or Miro) to visualise player flows;
- Stakeholder Influence: The ability to simplify complex technical concepts for marketing teams while maintaining technical rigour for engineering teams.
