Overview
We are currently seeking a student pursuing a degree in Sustainability, Business, or equivalent degree to work on our Sustainability team as an intern.The position will report to the Director, Global Responsible Gaming and Community but will work closely with all members of Brightstar’s sustainability team.
Responsibilities
- Assist the sustainability team with special projects that include research on topics, data collection, compiling results, and creating a report of the information developed.
- Assist in coordinating meetings with internal data owners.
- Assist with data and document uploads and organizing documents for the new document repository. Assist with community and volunteer events in Rhode Island such as literacy month collections, food insecurity collection, and season of giving.
- Assist with administrative or clerical tasks as needed for a variety of sustainability projects.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work 24-32 hours per week during the semester.
- Must have completed at least two years of higher education study or substantial equivalent credit hours.
- Must have reliable transportation and access to secure internet.
Skill Requirements
- Proficient in Outlook,Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail is necessary.
- Analytical, well organized, good communication skills, strong work ethic and strong desire to learn

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $24. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
