Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, Accounts Payable, you will support Brightstar Lottery's North America Accounts Payable operations while driving the continued evolution of Procure-to-Pay processes, controls, and technology capabilities. This role serves as a key leader within a global shared services environment, overseeing AP operations, purchasing card governance, property tax payment administration, and SAP Ariba process support. You will partner across Finance, Procurement, IT, Tax, Shared Services, and business operations to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, improve stakeholder experience, and deliver high-quality service. This role will be located hybrid in Providence, Rhode Island.
What You'll Do
- Lead North America Accounts Payable operations within a global shared services model
- Oversee offshore processing activities, including invoice management, payment execution, vendor maintenance, and issue resolution
- Monitor service levels, operational metrics, and key performance indicators to ensure compliance and effective service delivery
- Serve as the business subject matter expert for Procure-to-Pay processes and SAP Ariba support
- Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, reporting enhancements, and user adoption initiatives across Procure-to-Pay operations
- Administer the corporate purchasing card program, including governance, compliance monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder support
- Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen controls, support audits, maintain SOX compliance, and improve operating effectiveness
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay, Shared Services, or related accounting operations
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing accounting or operational teams, including coaching and talent development
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, Procure-to-Pay workflows, and internal control environments
- Proven success working within a shared services or centralized processing organization
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build effective partnerships across multiple functions and organizational levels
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $90,746 - $200,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
