Overview
The Manager, Business Proposals Writing leads a high-performing team responsible for developing content for strategic, compliant, and compelling responses to a high volume of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) within the regulated global lottery and gaming industry. This role requires exceptional leadership, collaboration, and writing expertise to support the company’s position as a market leader.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 10 proposal writers, ensuring timely, high-quality responses to complex, regulated RFPs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Regional Vice Presidents, Account Executives, Technology leadership, Product Managers, and Marketing leadership to align proposal strategies with business objectives.
- Proposal Development: Oversee the creation of persuasive, sales-driven, and fully compliant proposals that reflect the company’s value proposition and competitive advantage.
- Content Contribution: Author high-quality written content for inclusion in proposals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements.
- Content Management Innovation: Direct and support the Foundation Content Manager in implementing an AI-assisted content management platform to enhance accuracy, speed, and efficiency in content searches, improving overall proposal development capabilities.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $74,961-$164,800. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
