Position Summary

 

Our successful candidate will be a proactive team member who consistently seeks out information on topics relevant to our global lottery customers. Based on insights, this person will execute on key initiatives, including, but not limited to content development of case studies and special reports, new product marketing assets such as brochures, spec sheets, web site, video, email, and social channels, and lead sales enablement efforts to advance Brightstar Lottery's position as a leader in the lottery industry. To succeed, you will need knowledge and experience in integrated marketing communications and branding, with strong creative and technical writing skills. You must be a savvy project manager who works well independently and collaboratively and thrives on managing multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.

 

You will play a pivotal role in delivering content that directly impacts sales, through market and competitive insight, product positioning, developing go-to-market strategies, conference and tradeshow activities, and owning the execution of key product marketing launches and initiatives that will drive the Brightstar brand and business forward.

Responsibilities

 

  • Act as marketing communications business partner to lottery product teams.  Collaborate on development of marketing collateral and communication materials to effectively demonstrate key benefits of products/content/services to various stakeholders.  Develop recommendation plan on assets to be produced to achieve desired goals on awareness and education.
  • Take the lead in proactively obtaining content and developing stories to be used as case studies and to support overall Brightstar Lottery products and brand messaging and communications. Provide a comprehensive unified approach to our overall strategic marketing plan, inclusive of sales collateral, statistics and relevant information with the goal of educating customers on the benefits and features of our products & services and how they have been designed to grow lottery sales and revenue.
  • Create materials to be used as references in trade publications, articles, and presentations at trade shows and conferences, and customer-facing materials, as well as business proposals that help to elevate the Brightstar Lottery brand to our customers.
  • Understand customer demands and competitor positioning to ensure we are consistently meeting the needs of our customers from a communications perspective.
  • Oversee the creation of cross-channel business-to-business campaign assets, delivering the materials necessary for product launches and marketing campaigns, including brochures, spec sheets, video scripts, web pages, email content, social posts, and internal communications.
  • Partner with customers, third-party vendors, trade publishers, internal management teams, business units, sales, operations, corporate communications, creative and web services, and others as needed to develop best-in-class materials to support product launches and campaigns.
  • Manage the Seismic sales enablement tool, collaborating with internal teams (i.e., product, sales, marketing) to communicate new features and benefits, working with the vendor to ensure the tool is being utilized to the fullest extent possible for Brightstar’s use cases.

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of experience (minimum 3+ years) in Product Marketing, Content Marketing, or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including use of project management tools
  • Experience launching new business-to-business products
  • Proven record of accomplishment of prioritizing and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to manage and influence across highly cross-functional teams
  • Clear, concise writing skills, both technical and creative, for multiple audiences
  • Experience using AI tools to supplement writing projects
  • Experience analyzing complex data sets and taking part in quantitative and qualitative research
  • Strategic thinker that can see beyond the day-to-day to help reach marketing and sales goals, keep our strong brand, and improve the customer experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of the creative process, working with creative teams to complete projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe creative suite a plus
  • Experience with Seismic sales enablement tool or similar a plus
  • Experience with HubSpot email/social solution messaging solution a plus

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $59,795 - $122,400. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
