Overview

As a Global FP&A Intern, you will support Brightstar Lottery's Technology business unit by coordinating travel, auditing expenses, reconciling financial records, and providing administrative support. This internship offers hands-on experience in a global business environment while building skills in financial administration, organization, and operational support. This role is intended for students who can begin during the summer and continue working part-time during the academic year. This role will be located hybrid in Providence, Rhode Island.
 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate travel arrangements for employees using Brightstar Lottery's internal booking systems.
  • Review travel-related expenses to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Audit expense reports and supporting documentation.
  • Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and records.
  • Maintain organized financial and administrative documentation.
  • Assist the Technology business unit with day-to-day administrative activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support travel and expense processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Qualifications

What You'll Bring
  • Enrollment in an accredited degree program with current student status.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and good academic standing.
  • Capacity to begin employment during the summer and continue working at least 12 hours per week during the fall semester.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required
What Will Make You Stand Out
  • Exposure to finance, accounting, business, or related coursework.
  • Familiarity with expense reporting, reconciliation, or administrative processes.
  • Interest in developing knowledge of financial planning and analysis functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Initiative in managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $24. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
