Responsibilities

Performs a variety of duties related to the troubleshooting and repair of terminals down to the component level and boards, under general supervision.

  • Tests equipment to determine cause of failure.
  • Uses schematics and/or technical manuals in the repair/maintenance of terminal boards, etc .
  • Component level troubleshooting of PC boards and sub-assemblies using oscilloscope, multi- meter, etc.
  • Maintains log of incoming and outgoing terminals and repairs using data entry work station.
  • Inspects terminal, circuits, etc. for damage.
  • Cleans interior/exterior of terminal, boards, etc.
  • Assists field service technicians with terminal related problems or in obtaining necessary supplies.
  • Maintains terminals used in agent training as needed.
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds. Loading/unloading trucks.
  • Operates various equipment/machines including computer, oscilloscope, multi- meter, forklift, etc.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $29,120 - $52,458. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable. 

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
