Responsibilities

As a Product Development Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and maintaining high-quality server-side software solutions. Working closely with product managers, architects, and fellow developers, you will help ensure our products are scalable and meet future challenges. We also advocate for the utilization of Generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and innovation.

 

  • Backend Development: Design, Develop and maintain baseline On-line Lottery Transaction Processing system using C.
  • System-Level Skills: Employ Bash/Shell scripting for automation and comprehensive system integration tasks.
  • DevOps & Infrastructure: Contribute to application deployment
  • Collaboration and Communication: Demonstrate strong English communication skills (B2/C1 level) to facilitate seamless project collaboration within distributed teams.

Qualifications

Backend Development:

  • Mastery in C
  • Proficiency in design and programming large scale distributed systems
  • Proficiency in client-server programming
  • Experience in PostgreSQL and/or DB2 database systems
  • Proficiency in Git and GitHub, including pipeline development
  • Knowledge of Unit Tests

 

DevOps & Infrastructure:

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes ecosystems
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps


System-Level Skills:

  • Expertise in Linux/Unix
  • Expertise in Bash/Shell scripting

 

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills in English (B2/C1 level)
  • Proven experience working in an enterprise environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a distributed team

 

Value-Add/Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Azure or other public cloud platforms is a very big advantage
  • Knowledge of Java language
  • Familiarity with event-based architectures and Kafka
  • Understanding of microservices architecture principles
  • Python scripting capabilities
  • Proficiency in project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
