Responsibilities

The Data Center Supervisor oversees the planning, implementation, and daily operations of the organization’s data center, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and compliance. This role manages hardware installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance while driving process improvements, ensuring adherence to SLAs and regulatory standards, and supporting both internal and external client environments. The position requires deep technical expertise in IT infrastructure, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage complex systems and teams in a dynamic environment.

  • Oversee daily operations of the data center, including system performance monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Manage hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance activities.
  • Assist in capacity planning and vendor coordination to ensure resource availability.
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to process documentation, asset tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to technical staff, fostering a culture of operational excellence.
  • Working knowledge of server and network components.
  • Ability to perform routine diagnostics and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Foundational skills in documentation, asset tracking, and SLA monitoring.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED and 5+ years of related experience,

OR Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (may substitute for experience), OR equivalent combination of education and work experience.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $ 38,281 - $156,700. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
