Responsibilities

The Merchansiser Coordinator III is Responsible for a wide variety of functions associated with maximizing sales of existing Lottery Retailers through merchandising and training. This position will service the Lansing area of Michigan. Understands all aspects of Lottery operations at retail. Ability to multi-task and be ready to accept changing priorities and assignments while staying focused on top-revenue generating initiatives. Broad knowledge of organizations’ policies and products. Training and communicating retail market trends. Building recruitment strategies for new opportunities. Create a retail engagement plan to maximize sales and revenue.

 

  •   Provide ideas and suggestions for new promotional and permanent merchandising elements.
  •   Can make recommendations on facing counts and product mix that will result in optimizing Lottery product sales.
  •   Communicate organizational strategies and best practices to retailers and team members to maximize sales.
  •   Motivate retailers and team members to participate in and support Lottery initiatives
  •   Increase and maintain Lottery brand presence and awareness throughout Lottery retailer locations.
  •   Is an additional resource for meetings, field related questions and decision making when Supervisors are not available.
  •   Makes recommendations and assists with new employee onboarding
  •   Assists with completing retailer merchandising assessments
  •   Assists with vehicle inspections and other supervisor duties as needed
  •   Builds and maintains cross departmental relationships providing key communication both verbal and written
  •   Update retailer information in GEM and notify Lottery customer as needed.
  •   Provides ideas and suggestions to increase merchandiser productivity
  •   Assists with route planning, utilizing routing software
  •   Builds and maintains relationships with Lottery personnel, providing key communication both verbal and written
  •   Identifies and updates chain account procedures as necessary
  •   Reviews reports and provides suggestions and support for merchandisers and Lottery Customer

 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent required Bachelors or Extensive Lottery route experience Same qualifications as Level 2
  • Team Leadership skills
  • Able to synthesize, frame and position sales and marketing concepts in a compelling, persuasive manner to effectively convey product benefits highlighting key selling features and product differentiation.
  • Exceptional work goal performance of all Level 1 and 2 duties

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $15.96 – $46.88. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses.
