Responsibilities

At Brightstar, we're seeking a dedicated Repair Technician to join our Manufacturing team in Irving, TX. As a Repair Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our terminals and associated peripherals perform flawlessly. - Troubleshoot and repair terminals and associated peripherals down to the component and board level.
- Support field service technicians by distributing parts, tools, and inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Test the Point of Sale and Communications equipment to determine the cause of failure.
- Inspect and clean the interior/exterior of Point-of-Sale equipment as required.
- Update and maintain repair and inventory databases.
- Assist in maintaining an adequate supply of spare parts, sub-assemblies, and complete terminals.
- Screen parts are returned from vendors and repair centers for quality assurance.
- Collaborate with different client services departments and lottery and retail customers as required.
- Perform data entry and general administrative duties.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Electronics preferred.
- One or more years of related work experience.
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds. Loading/unloading trucks.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $21.00 – $24.90. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
