Short Description
The Software Quality Assurance Developer II (Manual Software Tester) is a hands-on, detail-oriented contributor who helps ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of CRM web and mobile applications. This role focuses on thoughtful manual testing, deep exploration of product behavior, and close collaboration with cross‑functional partners in an Agile environment. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer II plays a meaningful role in validating business requirements, identifying risk, and continuously improving how quality is built into products. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys problem solving, values inclusive teamwork, and takes pride in delivering software that creates positive experiences for end users.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, document, execute, and maintain manual test cases aligned to business and technical requirements for CRM web and mobile applications, including iPad and UWP platforms.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and scenario-based testing to uncover defects, usability concerns, and edge cases that may not be immediately visible.
- Configure, maintain, and manage remote test environments to support multiple products, platforms, and testing scenarios.
- Collaborate closely with Development, Product, Design, and other cross‑functional partners to clarify requirements, identify test gaps, and improve overall test coverage.
- Track, execute, and report on test activities using JIRA and related tools, ensuring clear visibility into quality status, risks, and progress.
- Analyze test results and clearly document defects, test evidence, and findings in a way that supports efficient troubleshooting and resolution.
- Create and contribute to QA documentation, test artifacts, and evolving best practices that support consistency and continuous improvement.
- Manage multiple testing assignments or projectsProactively identify potential risks and quality concerns early in the development lifecycle and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute a quality-focused perspective throughout planning, execution, and delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Two or more years of hands-on experience in manual software testing for web and/or mobile applications.
- Two or more years of experience using JIRA, including workflows, defect tracking, and test execution management.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience collaborating within Agile or Scrum teams.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server and basic query writing for test validation
- Experience testing enterprise‑scale, data‑driven, or CRM-based applications across web and mobile platforms

- Ability to work independently with a high level of organization, accountability, and self‑motivation in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Experience managing and maintaining test data to support complex and realistic testing scenarios.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate respectfully and effectively with cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document findings and communicate quality risks.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet internal and external deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
