Summary
Join a global leader in lottery technology as a Senior Software Applications Developer, contributing to modern, reliable, and secure enterprise reporting solutions. You will support Power BI and Snowflake environments, help modernize real-time reporting, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data products that empower decision‑makers throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain Power BI data sets and Snowflake pipelines using disciplined engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot complex datasets, ensuring stability and resolving Azure AD–related authentication issues.
- Build modern real-time reporting solutions with Microsoft Fabric Real-Time Intelligence.
- Lead semantic model setup and data integration across multiple business domains.
- Guide users through migration from personal to enterprise Power BI workspaces.
- Recommend Power BI best practices for adoption, licensing, and training.
- Develop Snowflake engineering solutions to support scalable and secure reporting.
- Support project delivery with a focus on performance, quality, and usability.
- Follow IT best practices for SLAs, incident/change management, and audit processes.
- Complete special projects with minimal supervision and contribute to team mentoring
- Play a critical role in transitioning legacy reporting to modern architectures and ensuring stable, secure, high-performance data pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in enterprise reporting, data engineering, or software development.
- Advanced expertise in Power BI dataset management, dashboards, and workspace administration.
- Strong Snowflake engineering experience, including modeling, pipelines, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Azure AD
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and IT service management practices
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric Real-Time Intelligence and Azure AD.
- Exposure to machine learning workflows or AI model integration is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, Fabric Event Streams
- Snowflake SQL, Streams, Tasks, Data Sharing, M365
- CI/CD, GitHub, DevOps
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with AI-assisted development/testing.
- Experience using AI-assisted development and testing tools to accelerate dashboard creation, automate data validation, or enhance report quality.
