Responsibilities

Provides support on projects or ongoing operations to internal and external customers. Supports QA and provides documentation.

  • Interfaces with local Operations Manager, Project Manager and customer staff as appropriate during projects.
  • Provides support to QA phases of projects.
  • Makes recommendations regarding improved operating systems and procedures.
  • Provides 24-hour front-line operations support on beeper.
  • Responds accordingly during system emergencies to minimize financial penalties.
  • Investigates incidents in the production environment; develops incident reports and other follow-up items to the customer base

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2-3 years of experience at a Senior Computer Operator level, 1-2 years as Operations Supervisor.
  • Should be competent in key areas such as Linux, DB2 and Microsoft Server platforms.

The estimated starting compensation range is $INSERT HERE - $INSERT HERE. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
