Responsibilities

Provides support on projects or ongoing operations to internal and external customers. Supports QA and provides documentation.

Interfaces with local Operations Manager, Project Manager and customer staff as appropriate during projects.
Provides support to QA phases of projects.
Makes recommendations regarding improved operating systems and procedures.
Provides 24-hour front-line operations support on beeper.
Responds accordingly during system emergencies to minimize financial penalties.
Investigates incidents in the production environment; develops incident reports and other follow-up items to the customer base

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
2-3 years of experience at a Senior Computer Operator level, 1-2 years as Operations Supervisor.
Should be competent in key areas such as Linux, DB2 and Microsoft Server platforms.
