Overview
As an Operation Analyst, you will support the ongoing operations and projects, Brightstar Clients: both internal and external customers; supporting internal Quality Assurance (QA) as well as Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) and providing documentation.
Responsibilities
- Incident management: Investigate incidents in the production environment working mainly with remote engineers, on-call support outside office hours and when needed, on-site DC support. Local QA and troubleshooting support for terminal application and instant ticket incidents.
- Problem management: Participate in root cause analysis, problem resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Change management: Coordinate changes as per change management process, keeping design up to date, working together with Brightstar system engineers and alerting management of software changes to be made.
- Integration support: Provide support to QA and CAT phases of projects, interfacing with local team and customer staff as appropriate during projects. Perform go-live installations (batch work).
- Operations support: document system related work instructions, developing reports, procedures and technical documentation; collaborate with Brightstar operation center to perform backups and systems jobs. Physical hardware and system-level software support at the DC.
- Monitoring support: Ensure that systems are working at proper performance, working together with capacity manager; and assure proper monitoring of systems in collaboration with event manager and monitoring team in Poland.
- Ensure that all systems are properly secured as per Consortium security framework.
- Ensure systems proper redundancy as per availability plan and business continuity plan, participating on-site in DRP plan design and testing.
- Perform system administration duties on Gaming system as well as basic local IT support.
Qualifications
- Diploma: Bachelor in IT or equal by experience.
- Years of experience: 1-4 years of experience at Computer Operator level or similar, and with customer support.
- Technical knowledge: Windows and Unix/ Linux server operating systems. Knowledge of, or certification in ITIL is a definite plus.
- Soft skills: flexible, autonomous, take initiatives, stress resistant, capable of prioritizing tasks and manage constant changes and multiple different tasks; able to work with remote teams.
